Tulifanya Gallery in Kampala, Uganda, was a gallery I owned and operated for one year until the time we left Uganda. The gallery's purpose was to showcase Ugandan artists and to provide a local outlet for the National Association of Women's Organizations in Uganda (NAWOU). NAWOU was engaged in helping women's groups develop income generating projects, covering quality of crafts, training in various areas, and global marketing. The gallery was sold to Maria Fischer when we left, who continues to operate the gallery today. She continues to offer exhibition space for Uganda's excellent artists.

Nancy is a wonderful potter who lives on Pender Island. Her sculpural pottery reflects the nature which surrounds us here on Pender. The quality and distinct nature of her sculptural pottery makes her a welcome addition to Pender Island's artistic community.
